Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp mascarpone
- 150ml double cream
- 1 tsp icing sugar
- 30ml Smirnoff Vanilla Vodka
- 30ml coffee liqueur like Kahlúa
- 30ml Baileys
- 30ml espresso, freshly brewed and cooled
- Cocoa powder, for dusting
Method:
- Chill your glass by placing it in the fridge or freezer while you make the drink.
- To make the mascarpone cream, whisk the mascarpone ingredients together until whipped using an electric mixer. Set aside.
- Add the vodka, coffee liqueur and coffee to a cocktail shaker. Top with ice, seal it with a lid or glass and shake vigorously for about 30 seconds.
- Strain the martini into the glass to remove any ice.
- Add a dollop of mascarpone cream (roughly one tablespoon) on top and dust with cocoa powder. Serve immediately.
- Top tips:
- If you don’t have an espresso machine, dissolve one heaped teaspoon of instant coffee in 30ml water.
- The Baileys will sweeten this tiramisu martini, but if you like your espresso martinis super sweet, add a teaspoon of sugar to the coffee while hot and stir until it completely dissolves.
- You will have additional mascarpone cream. Either make more cocktails or use it with desserts.
