Ingredients:
- 2 nests of medium egg noodles
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 50g butter
- 3 spring onions, chopped, plus extra to garnish
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- Handful of beansprouts
Method:
1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain well and drizzle with the sesame oil to prevent them from sticking together.
2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over a medium-high heat. Add the spring onions and garlic and cook for one minute.
3. Add the sugar and stir vigorously until completely dissolved.
4. Add the soy sauce and beansprouts. Stir to combine thoroughly and cook for one minute longer to heat through.
5. Toss the noodles with the sauce, plate and garnish with extra spring onions.
