Ingredients:
- 110g pitted dates
- 2 heaped tbsp of peanut butter
- 75g porridge oats
- 1 pinch of sea salt
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 2 tbsp dark chocolate chips
- Chocolate, grated into fine crumbs (optional)
Method:
- Place the dates in a bowl, cover with warm water and allow to soak for 5-6 minutes. Drain well.
- Add the dates, peanut butter, porridge oats, a pinch of salt and chia seeds to a food processor and blitz well until a soft dough forms, adding a splash of water (if needed) to combine.
- Add a couple of chocolate chips to each bite-sized ball while shaping in your hands. Either serve as is, or roll each ball in chocolate shavings.
