Ingredients:
- 2 large Granny Smith apples
- 200g dark chocolate, melted
- Lollipop sticks
- White chocolate
- Googly eyes
- Halloween sprinkles
Method:
- Cut the apples into slices about 4cm thick, taking care to avoid the core.
- Carefully insert a lollipop stick into the bottom of each slice.
- To coat the apples, dip each apple slice into the melted chocolate, making sure it’s completely coated. Place the slices onto a sheet of parchment paper to set.
- Before the chocolate sets, decorate the apples using your preferred toppings. First melt the white chocolate. To do so, place the bar (still in its wrapper) into a bowl of hot water. Once melted, snip one of the corners and use the pack like a piping bag to add zig-zags to the apples.
- Add sprinkles and googly eyes.
- Allow the apples to set before enjoying.
