Spooky Power Ball Spiders

Ingredients:
  • 200g pitted dates
  • 100g oats
  • 3 tbsp peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • Pinch of salt
  • To coat & assemble
  • 200g dark chocolate, melted
  • Pretzels, broken into pieces
  • Googly eyes
Method:
  1. Add all the ingredients for the filling to a blender & blitz until smooth. If your mixture isn’t coming together, add a tbsp of water and repeat the process until it works.
  2. Form the mixture into 18 evenly sized balls, place them onto a plate or baking tray and pop them into the freezer while you melt the chocolate.
  3. To coat the balls, insert a skewer or toothpick into each one and dip it into the chocolate.
  4. Place the balls onto a sheet of baking paper to set. Add the googly eyes and the pieces of broken pretzels for legs. You might want to dip the pretzel pieces into the chocolate using that end to attach the pretzel to the ball.
  5. These can be kept for up to three days once stored in an airtight container!
