Ingredients:
- Lime wedge
- Flakey sea salt
- Zest of ½ a lime, optional
- 120ml cranberry juice
- 45ml tequila
- 30ml orange liquor like Cointreau or Triple Sec
- Juice of ½ a lime
Method:
1. Prepare the salt rim by rubbing a lime wedge around the rim of the margarita glass. Add 2 tbsp coarse sea salt to a plate along with the lime zest (if using) and gently mix. Dip the glass in the salt mix to coat.
2. Fill the glass with ice. Fill a cocktail shaker with all the margarita ingredients, top with ice, attach the lid and shake vigorously for about 30 seconds.
3. Strain the cocktail into the glass.
