Ingredients:
- 2 nests of medium egg noodles
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 50g butter
- 3 spring onions, chopped, plus extra to garnish
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- Handful of beansprouts
Method:
- Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain well and drizzle with the sesame oil to prevent them from sticking together.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over a medium-high heat. Add the spring onions and garlic and cook for one minute.
- Add the sugar and stir vigorously until completely dissolved.
- Add the soy sauce and beansprouts. Stir to combine thoroughly and cook for one minute longer to heat through.
- Toss the noodles with the sauce, plate and garnish with extra spring onions.
