Quiche Lorraine

Ingredients:
  • 1 ready-made pastry case
  • 100g ham, cut into small pieces
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 150ml semi-skimmed milk
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 50g (2oz) cheddar, grated
Method:

Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/gas mark 4. Scatter the ham in the bottom of the pastry case. Add the milk to the eggs and season. Pour into the pastry case. Add the cheese on top. Cook in the oven for 25 minutes.
