Ingredients:
- 150g honey
- 50g butter
- 70g sunflower seeds
- 60g pumpkin seeds
- 150g rolled oats
- 50g sesame seeds
- 125g dried fruit (any kind or mix)
- Red apple, peeled and grated
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 180C. Lightly grease a 3cm-deep, 17.5cm x 27cm (base) tin and line with parchment paper, allowing some paper to overhang.
- Melt the butter and honey in a large saucepan over a medium-low heat until you bring it to a simmer. Allow to simmer for 3-4 minutes until thickened.
- Add the dry ingredients and the apple to the saucepan and mix thoroughly so that all ingredients are coated with wet mixture.
- Spoon into the prepared tin and press into the edges and corners. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden. Allow to cool. Refrigerate for 2 hours and then cut into bars.
